God's Own Country, man going down on other man on grass — **God's Own Country**
Set in the farmland of Yorkshire, this romantic drama introduces a young farmer (Josh O'Connor) to the most unexpected love of his life: a migrant worker named Gheroghe (Alec Secareanu). The two men engage in love scenes that'd make *Brokeback Mountain* blush, but it's more than just a steamy sex-fest. *God's Own Country* also earned rave reviews!

Another acclaimed drama about a whirlwind gay romance, *Holding the Man* hails from Australia and is based on Timothy Conigrave's memoir. Ryan Corr stars as Conigrave, a man who falls for classmate John (Craig Stott). The story travels across the decades, starting in 1976-and it includes a pitstop at an orgy.

When it comes to LGBTQ documentaries, this is about as steamy as it gets. Set on an all-gay cruise, *Dream Boat* follows the journeys of five men from different countries as they strut their stuff in everything from speedos to bondage gear and look for love on the high seas. Of all the movies on this list, this one features the least pants *and* the most IRL hook-ups.

Constance Wu and Angela Trimbur star as brides whose bachelorette weekend is brought to a halt when one admits that they've never actually had an orgasm. This sexy romcom is mostly a tame ol' time, but a few scintillating scenes definitely earn it a place on this list.

All Naima (Alia Shawkat) and Sergio (Laia Costa) want is to form a real sense of intimacy with another person. After meeting up at a club, these two strangers decide to spend the next day together, having sex like clockwork every hour in an attempt to forge the kind of bond they've been craving. Not surprisingly, Naima and Sergio spend a lot of the next day naked in bed.

This romantic drama was nominated for six Academy awards and was nominated for the Palme d/Or at Cannes. A striking period piece set in the sexually repressive and regressive 1950s, *Carol* tells the sensual tale of a woman (Cate Blanchett's Carol) going through a divorce and the young photographer (Rooney Mara) she falls for.
