‘The Other Two’ is Now Streaming For Free!

Today was just your typical humdrum Wednesday. My subway ride to work was uneventful; I tweeted about annoying computer updates; I had a chicken and rice bowl for lunch. Business as usual. But then something happened that injected some much needed razzmatazz into an otherwise unremarkable hump day: For the next two weeks, The Other Two is streaming for free (no cable password needed) on Comedy Central’s website.

Created by former SNL co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, the immensely funny series follows two struggling siblings (played by Drew Tarver and Heléne Yorke) whose lives are upended when their 13-year-old brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), becomes famous overnight. Also starring Ken Marino and Molly Shannon (and featuring the man, the myth, the legend: RICHARD KIND), the sitcom was a critical hit, earning a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and Season 2 renewal from Comedy Central. Kelly — who also wrote the poignant indie film Other People, which is currently streaming on Netflix — shared the news earlier today on Twitter.

“The entire first season of #TheOtherTwo is unlocked and streaming for free for the next 2 weeks,” Kelly tweeted. “You don’t need a cable login or anything. Just click the link and binge away! We really hope this helps a lot of new people find our lil show!”

Back in January, I wrote that The Other Two was an early contender for funniest new comedy of the year. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, I can say that I was wrong. It’s not just a contender, it’s hands down the funniest new comedy of the year. Catch up today on ComedyCentral.com.
