Watch The ‘Stranger Things’ Cast Play “Search Party” On ‘Fallon’

The cast of Netflix’s hit supernatural series Stranger Things appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night to discuss the upcoming third season of the show, without revealing too many details.

Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and Sadie Sink all appeared on the show and were each asked to describe Season 3 in one word.

Wolfhard used the word “classic” to describe the season, while McLaughlin called it “gory” and Sink said it was “fun.” Brown chose to describe it as “spreading,” while Schnapp called it “sad” and Matarazzo claimed it was “bigger.”

The cast discussed a particular segment of the season that was filmed in an actual mall where people were shopping that was redesigned to look like it was from the 1980s. Wolfhard divulged that the cast took a particular approach to filming in this new setting, by pretending that the mall was haunted to help them get into their characters.

While messing around with host Jimmy Fallon, the cast taught him the “Chicken Noodle Soup” song invented by McLaughlin, who claimed “It’s a song I made to annoy Gaten and Sadie. They didn’t like it, but they joined in.”

Towards the end of the episode, the cast faced off in a game of “Search Party,” similar to Family Feud, where they had to guess the most popular internet search terms. You can check out that clip above.

Season 3 of Stranger Things debuts on Netflix July 4th.
