Hunter Schafer in Euphoria — **HUNTER SCHAFER as JULES VAUGHN**
**Who is Jules in *Euphoria*?:** Jules is the bewitching "new girl in town." Rue explains that she moved from the city to the suburbs after her parents divorced. Jules is also transgender, and she is secretly experimenting on queer dating apps...which leads her into an awkward love triangle with Nate and his father.

Jacob Elordi in Euphoria — **JACOB ELDORI as NATE JACOBS**

Barbie Ferreria in Euphoria — **BARBIE FERRERIA as KAT HERNANDEZ**
**Who is Kat in *Euphoria*?:** Kat starts off *Euphoria* as one of the only virgins in her friend group, but that changes after she boldly loses her virginity to some underclassmen at McKay's party.

**Who is Lexi in *Euphoria*?:** Lexi is Rue's childhood best friend. While Rue is careening out of control, Lexi is one of the few teens in the show who seems to have her head screwed on right. Lexi is also Cassie's younger sister.

HBO’s brash new teen drama Euphoria is a must-watch for one reason: its incendiary cast of young actors. Led by Spider-Man star Zendaya, the cast of Euphoria is chock full of rising stars, Netflix-approved heartthrobs, and newcomers eager to set the screen on fire.

Zendaya stars in Euphoria as Rue Bennett, a 17-year-old drug addict who is in no hurry to quit using. Not even a horrific overdose or stint in rehab can quell her need to chase the next high. Rue is also the narrator of Euphoria, and as such, we see the show’s world through her gaze. The beguiling new girl Jules (Hunter Schafer) who becomes Rue’s best friend is seen in an almost angelic light, while football captain Nate (Jacob Elordi) comes across as a broken personification of toxic masculinity.

Even though Rue is the narrator of Euphoria, the show still manages to feel like a rich ensemble drama. Sydney Sweeney continues her ferocious year of breakthrough turns as Cassie, a sweet girl poised to become undone by pernicious gossip, and as McKay, Algee Smith makes yet another case for himself as future leading man. Elsewhere, relative newcomers like Barbie Ferreria, Alexa Demie, and Angus Cloud show themselves capable of chomping on some truly complex material.
