‘Prime’, The Sexiest Rom-Com of the 2000’s, Is Now On Hulu

If you’ve seen the 2005 film Prime, knowing that it’s now available to stream on Hulu surely has you tingling with excitement. If you haven’t seen the 2005 film Prime, you should go ahead and stream it on Hulu now, as the description of just how hot this movie is will do no justice to what you’re about to witness.

Prime stars Meryl Streep at her Most Meryl. She’s perfect in this role. That’s the sophisticated reason you should watch this movie. As Lisa Metzger, she’s a wife, mom, and therapist, and pretty damn good at all of those jobs. Well, until she finds out one of her favorite patients Rafi (Uma Thurman) is banging Lisa’s hot son David (Bryan Greenberg). And that’s the sexy reason you should watch it.

Thurman is radiant here, and honestly, any woman hooking up with sweet, young Greenberg probably would be too. Like Rafi, you’ll find him irresistible. The feeling of excitement they each share can be felt through the screen, and this movie accomplishes that with only a PG-13 rating. The journey their relationship takes is not only sexy but also turns out to be rather sentimental as well. Their chemistry together is perfect…as is watching Rafi gush about all the sex she’s having while her therapist (again: his mom!) tries not to let her complete horror show on the outside. Awkward!

But Prime isn’t just about sexy hookups, it’s a deeper movie about helping yourself grow, knowing what you want, and figuring out how to navigate it all when outside forces (read: family and friends) get involved. It’s the kind of movie that can be both profound and make you feel aroused. It’s hot and heartfelt! Not to mention it’s an excellent New York City summertime movie, too. And don’t be surprised if you find yourself checking out younger men after you see this one — just make sure it’s not your therapist’s kid, is all.
