Who is Robin on Stranger Things?
Robin is Steve Harrington’s sassy co-worker at Scoops Ahoy at the StarCourt. At first, she mocks him for his friendship with Dustin and keeps a running tally of all the girls he strikes out with. However she soon becomes tight with both Steve and Dustin after she helps them decode the Russian transmission Dustin intercepts.
Together, with the help of Erica, the gang embarks on a daring mission to find the source of the Russian signal. Later, she and Steve are captured by the Russians and given a truth serum. Under the influence of this drug, Steve reveals he has a crush on Robin, and Robin shares that she is a lesbian. The two remain friends. After the events of Stranger Things Season 3, Robin helps Steve land a job with her at a local video rental store.
Who is Maya Hawke, the actress who plays Robin on Stranger Things?
Maya Hawke is the oldest child of stars Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. She made her screen debut playing Jo March in PBS’s Little Women (and back in my 2018 review of the series, I actually wrote “Hawke has that elusive “it” factor.
