Prepare your filthy human minds for impending doom! Netflix and Nickelodeon have just released the first assets for their upcoming Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus movie. Not only that, but we finally know when this madness will debut: on August 16.

All Nicktoons in the 2000s were weird, but Invader Zim was head and shoulders above the typically bizarre series. Created by Jhonen Vasquez, the comic book artist behind such adorable kid-friendly projects as Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and I Feel Sick, Invader Zim followed one horribly incompetent alien who wanted to enslave humanity really, really badly. Thankfully for all mankind he supremely sucked at it. But that passion led to some truly memorable face-offs between the aggressively stupid human race and Zim’s arch rival, the conspiracy believing Dib.

But it wasn’t Zim and Dib’s clear, unrelenting hatred for one another that made the show stand out. What did that was its unrelenting combination of borderline repulsive randomness. Over the course of Invader Zim a house destroyed a city because it wanted tacos, a man stuck in a Chuck-E-Cheese inspired costume thought he was an actual pig man, a video game cursed a young girl to taste nothing but pork for all eternity, and multiple children exploded. Don’t worry about that last part though. They came back.

However it seems like Zim‘s new movie is trading in its antihero’s ego for some introspection. According to Netflix’s synopsis in Enter the Florpus, “Zim discovers his almighty leaders never had any intention of coming to Earth and he loses confidence in himself for the first time in his life, which is the big break his human nemesis, Dib has been waiting for.”

A humble Zim? The universe may not be able to handle that. Thankfully it can handle this blissfully, hilariously bizarre first look. Netflix’s first clip features Zim (still voiced by Richard Horvitz) and his robot sidekick GIR (voiced by Rosearik Rikki Simons) laughing manically inside of a toilet. And guess what? Zim’s computer is still an uncooperative, grumpy asshole.

Netflix and Nick have also released two first look images for Enter the Florpus. The first is pretty traditional by Invader Zim standards. As Zim angrily yells at someone (probably GIR), his bored leaders Almighty Tallest Red and Purple  can be seen watching him. It’s nice to know that 13 years later Purple still loves doughnuts.

But it’s the second image that requires some serious examination. Zim and GIR in their human and dog costumes can be seen yelling at some wheelchair-bound kid with a protruding gut. And holy crap that’s DIB!

There’s no other character with purple hair quite that… elaborate. Based on this photo we can guess that life hasn’t been kind to Dib (voiced by Andy Berman). Any day you’re suffering from eye, nose, and mouth gunk is a bad day. But what exactly happened to this budding paranormal investigator and how much time has passed? In the episode “Dib’s Wonderful Life of Doom” it was revealed that as Dib ages, his hair Nike swoop gets bigger. Is he actually a teenager or even a very short adult now? Or has he just been a wreck for a couple of unruly hair months?

No matter the answer to those questions, we already love this movie as much as GIR love taquitos.
