‘Jack Ryan’ Is Back in the First Teaser Trailer for Season 2

The Office may be leaving Netflix, but more Action Jim is coming in the form of John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan Season 2, which just dropped its first teaser trailer and poster for the Amazon Studios hit.

Here’s another John Krasinski joke: you might as well call the series A Loud Place, based on all the action and explosions in the one minute long teaser. In fact, there’s only one line of dialogue at the end of the footage, as Jack gets welcomed back by his boss. “Good to see you again, Jack,” he says. “Yeah,” answers Jack Ryan. “You too.”

Season 2 focuses the action of the series squarely on South America, after Ryan discovers a suspicious arms shipment in the Venezulan jungle. Is this just the tip of the iceberg, as Ryan uncovers a vast conspiracy? Naturally. Does it end up going all the way to the top, to the President of Venezula? Sure does. And does it send Ryan on a globe-trotting mission that takes him from Venezula, to the UK, to Russia and beyond? If you had to ask any of these questions, you don’t know Jack.

Ryan. Jack Ryan. That’s the name of the character, and he’s always getting embroiled in these sorts of situations.

Jack Ryan also stars Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Noomi Rapace as Harriet “Harry” Baumann and Michael Kelly as Mike November. The series is executive produced by Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Michael Bay, John Krasinski and Allyson Seeger, along with Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, who created the series for television. Additionally, Andrew Bernstein, Vince Calandra, David Graziano, Tom Clancy, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Marcy Ross, Mace Neufeld, Lindsey Springer, Dennie Gordon and Phil Abraham also executive produce the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
