The custody battle between Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel rages on. According to The Blast, Dennis violated her custody agreement with Ravenel when she allowed her new boyfriend Hunter Price to sleep over while her children were present. In legal documents obtained by the outlet, Dennis apologized for violating the court order, and she said that allowing Price to spend the night was “the worst decision that [she has] made in a long time.”
According to The Blast, Ravenel alleges that his private eye spotted Price, a musician, spending the night multiple times while their children, Kensie, 5, and Saint, 3, have been at Dennis’ home. In court documents filed recently, Dennis admitted to the accusation and apologized for violating her custody agreement “by allowing Hunter Price to stay with [her] and the children during most of February and March of 2019.” The Southern Charm star said that she tried to hide Price’s sleepovers from the court, but doing so “was a really bad decision.”
“I have no excuse for this,” Dennis said in court documents obtained by The Blast. “I fell in love with Hunter after I met him at the end of last year, and allowing him to spend the night in February and March when I have had the children has turned out to be the worst decision that I have made in a long time.”
Dennis and Ravenel have been locked in a custody battle for months, but their fight has intensified in recent weeks. On July 18, leaked court documents indicated that Dennis may have had an abortion while in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction; her lawyer denied the allegations immediately after they were presented by Ravenel’s legal team. Dennis responded with allegations of her own: The Blast reports that this week, she filed a new declaration claiming that Ravenel drunkenly dropped their child into the pool.
This case is ongoing, and will likely continue until the judge reaches a verdict. Hopefully, things don’t get any uglier than they already have.
