Netflix may have canceled its Marvel shows, but that doesn’t mean Simone Missick has given up on Misty Knight. At the Television Critics Association’s 2019 summer tour Missick reflected on her Marvel Television-spanning character, and revealed what her ultimate ending for Misty would be — if she had her choice.

“For me it was my first huge opportunity. And so to be able to be introduced to a bunch of people as Misty Knight, as a superhero, as a strong capable badass woman doing fight scenes and stunts. It was a dream,” Missick told Decider. The actress portrayed Harlem NYPD Detective Misty Knight on Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s The Defenders, and Marvel’s Iron Fist. Both Luke Cage and Iron Fist were canceled by Netflix after two seasons, while Defenders only ran for one.

“Now this is a different kind of dream. I get to be a different kind of superhero,” Missick continued. The actor is currently set to star in CBS’ drama about a judge in a corrupt legal system, All Rise. “As sad as it is to be saying goodbye to that character you never know what will happen in the future. But goodbye just feels like I’m going onto something that’s equally amazing.”

When asked what her ultimate ending for Misty would be, Missick went big. “I would have loved to see her get knighted with a bomb bionic gold arm Tony Stark made. I would have wanted Tony to come down himself and give it to me. And then I would have loved to see her hanging out with Sam Wilson as Captain America. Do you know what I mean? With a big full-on fro, no longer on the police force,” Missick said. “And then on the weekends running things with Colleen Wing as Daughters of the Dragon.”

The actor added, “There was so much potential for that character and that storyline. It’s hard to see it end the way that it did.”

According to Missick there are currently no plans to continue Misty Knight’s story on any streaming service or network. All of the rumors the actor has seen about a revival have come from fans online. “What’s funny is you always, as the actor you always get like this heart palpitation where you’re like ‘Really!?’ And then you read the article and you’re like, written by BoBo Jones,” Missick joked.

But if these fan hopes became a reality, Missick would be more than game. “I pray that this show, All Rise, goes on for seasons and seasons,” Missick said. “And then I pray that if my schedule allows and something else pops up and they decide to do a Veronica Mars-esque ‘Hey where are they now’ — that would be amazing.”

All Rise premieres on CBS Monday, September 23.
