Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis was involved in a minor car wreck last Friday, August 2nd in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, but thankfully everyone appears to be okay.
ABC News 4 reports that the collision report stated Dennis was traveling north on Highway 17 “when she said she became distracted by her children in the back seat,” around 4:50pm.
The site also says that “Her vehicle then struck a guard rail before hitting three trees and two light poles and coming to a rest on the southbound side of the roadway,” and that “seat belts and car seats were being used at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported.”
The incident comes at an unfortunate time, as Dennis is currently embroiled in a nasty custody battle with ex Thomas Ravenel over their two children, Kensie, 5, and Saint, 3. Leaked court documents show that Ravenel has been scrutinizing her ability to parent their two young children, as well as her sobriety and spending habits. While it’s fortunate that everyone was unharmed, he is sure to use this information in their ongoing legal battle.
On tonight’s episode of the Bravo series, Dennis comes face to face with Ravenel’s ex-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs, who spent the previous season hurling insults in Dennis’ direction, and is now looking to fake apologize and save face on national television.
Southern Charm airs Wednesday at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
