‘Beverly Hills, 90210’s Brian Austin Green Reveals He and Tori Spelling Really Did Hook Up

It looks like all those Tori Spelling–Brian Austin Green jokes in the BH90210 premiere were true, after all. On Thursday night, David Silver himself stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he revealed that he and Spelling really did hook up during their 90210 days. Green told an after-show caller that he and Spelling, who played his on-screen love interest Donna Martin, had a brief fling when they “were young,” although he didn’t provide any details about what exactly went down. “That’s what young people do,” said the 90210 star.

During the WWHL after-show, a woman called in to ask about Green’s romantic history with his former (and current, considering the Fox reboot) co-stars. “Did you and Tori Spelling ever have a romantic relationship while filming 90210?” asked the caller. “She said that you two hooked up,” she added, likely referencing Spelling’s many jokes in the BH90210 pilot about “losing her virginity” to Green on- and off-screen. “No, no,” said Green. “Wait, she said — Tori said that we did?” Dude, you were literally in that scene.

“Tori said that you guys hooked up,” said host Andy Cohen. “We hooked up, yeah. We did,” said Green with a sly smile. “But we were young, and it was — so, that’s what young people do.”

Cohen then proceeded to ask Green whether he’s hooked up with every other female cast member (out here fighting the good fight, Andy). “Okay, so you hooked up with Tori. Did you hook up with Shannen?” he asked. Green said “no,” and Cohen continued to run through the Beverly Hills, 90210 IMDb page. “We know you hooked up with Tiffani-Amber Thiessen,” said Cohen. “Yeah. Tiffani and I were dating before she started doing the show,” replied Green.

“Okay, Jennie Garth. Did you hook up with [her]?” asked Cohen. Green shook his head no, adding, “Gabrielle? No.” When Cohen asked if Gabrielle Carteris was “like 15 years older” than the rest of the cast at that time, guest Alison Brie pushed back, but the WWHL host defended his line of questioning. “No, she was older than them!” said Cohen. “She was slightly older. She’s the head of our SAG-AFTRA union. And I appreciate her,” said Brie, ever a diplomat. “No, but I was always like, ‘She’s in high school? What?’ That’s all. I’m not being ageist,” added Cohen. “She seemed too old to be in high school. Everything’s cool.”
