If you’re a fan of Netflix’s Car Masters or Fastest Car, the streamer’s newest reality racing sensation Hyperdrive is for you!

Now streaming on Netflix, the ten-episode reality competition series features 28 off-the-grid racers bringing their custom built cars to a 100 acre industrial complex that’s home to ten of the most insane race courses imaginable. So who are the Hyperdrive hosts putting the pedal to the metal? Decider’s here to answer that very question.

Who are the Hyperdrive hosts? Here’s everything you need to know about Netflix’s newest racing quartet!

WHO ARE THE HOSTS OF NETFLIX’S HYPERDRIVE?

Netflix’s newest racing series is hosted by Lindsay Czarniak, Rutledge Wood, Mike Hill, and Michael Bisping.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN LINDSAY CZARNIAK BEFORE?

You most likely recognize Czarniak from her time as a SportsCenter anchor. During her tenure at ESPN, Lindsay also hosted SportsNation and NASCAR Now while also becoming the first woman to host the network’s coverage of the Indianapolis 500 on ABC.

Before her time at ESPN, Czarniak co-hosted The George Michael Sports Machine and was a reporter for the 2006 Winter Olympics for NBC Sports. An Emmy Award-winning broadcaster, Lindsay currently covers NASCAR for FOX Sports, hosts a podcast titled Players, and as her bio states, enjoys country music and horror movies.

Czarniak will also be reporting on the upcoming season of the NFL for Fox.

Fun fact: Lindsay’s bio notes that she’s a “scavenger hunt enthusiast.” You can follow along with Czarniak’s career on Instagram.

WHAT ABOUT RUTLEDGE WOOD?

A renowned auto racing analyst, Wood is perhaps best known for his time on History’s Top Gear or from hosting a variety of shows on Speed TV and FS1, including NASCAR RaceDay, SPEED Road Tour Challenge, NASCAR Smarts, and NASCAR Live.

Rutledge currently covers NASCAR for NBC Sports and has worked as a reporter for the 2016 and 2018 Olympic Games.

On Wood’s website he notes that his passion for cars and motorsports started at an early age. His father taught him the business of buying, restoring, and selling new and vintage vehicles. You can follow along with Wood’s career on Instagram.

MIKE HILL IS ALSO A FORMER ESPN HOST, RIGHT?

You bet! For almost a decade (2004-2013), Hill was a regular presence on ESPN, hosting SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, SportsNation, First Take, and a variety of other programs.

His prolific career in sports continued after ESPN as he joined FOX Sports, hosting America’s Pregame on FS1 with Molly McGrath and Keeping It Real With Mike Hill among many other shows. Hill’s FOX Sports bio also notes that the versatile broadcaster is the owner and operator of a multimedia production company (Thrill of Entertainment) and provided the voiceover for the audiobook “Power, Money and Sex,” which was penned by Deion Sanders.

As you can tell from the below tweet, Hill possesses an infectious enthusiasm for Hyperdrive.

You can follow along with Hill’s career on Instagram.

WHAT ABOUT MICHAEL BISPING?

Rounding out the quartet is former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. The retired mixed martial artist is not only a sports broadcaster, but he’s also a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. If you’re unfamiliar with Bisping’s work in the octagon, you may recognize him from the big screen. Bisping portrayed the character of Hawk in XXX: Return of Xander Cage and also had a role in Twin Peaks: The Return.

Also, fun fact: Michael is followed by The Rock on Twitter.

A true Renaissance man, Bisping has a new book, “Quitters Never Win: My Life in UFC”, which is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019. You can follow along with Bisping’s career on Instagram.

I LOVED HYPERDRIVE! ARE THERE ADDITIONAL NETFLIX CAR SHOWS TO WATCH?

You know it. If you’re a fan of Hyperdrive, you should definitely press play on Car Masters or Fastest Car.
