Happy Friday, everyone! This weekend could be considered an underdog time of the month for your favorite streaming services. Why you may ask? It is almost the end of the month, so you are starting to look towards the new releases out in a few weeks, but that does not mean that Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO are done delivering amazing shows and movies this month! And boy, do they have a fantastic lineup of things to watch while you relax this weekend.
13 Reasons Why Season 3 is finally coming to Netflix. Yes, you heard correctly. But this season has offered a new twist: the bad boy is now the victim. So who killed Bryce Walker, Hannah’s rapist?
It’s a battle of the streaming platforms this weekend because Mission: Impossible- Fallout is hitting both Amazon Prime AND Hulu this weekend! The latest in the Mission: Impossible film series follows Ethan Hunt (played by the dashing Tom Cruise) and his IMF teammates as they defy the laws of gravity—and nature— to fix a botched mission before it is too late. And if you find yourself in the mood to watch more handsome men who have action-movie backgrounds, then make sure to catch the season 5 premiere of Ballers, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, on HBO Sunday night! After season 4, we left Spencer Strasmore (Johnson) in the midst of a heated legal battle with the NCAA. This season is sure to be a dramatic and comedic one!

13 Reasons Why: Season 3

Who killed Bryce Walker? That is the new mystery that will be explored in Season 3 of 13 Reasons Why. Netflix’s most controversial series is back for another highly-anticipated season. As the trailer spoiled for viewers (sorry!), Bryce Walker is killed at the start of Season 3. Whether or not his death is justified, his murder is still a crime, and the criminal is now the victim. Oh, and everyone is a suspect in his murder. Now that the mystery thriller has transitioned from the Hannah Baker storyline, we are sure to see a new type of character development and interaction between our stars. This season is sure to shake the table.

Mission: Impossible- Fallout

The latest installment of the Mission: Impossible film series is headed to both Amazon Prime and Hulu this weekend! In Mission: Impossible – Fallout, IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team must race against the clock to fix a mission gone awry. Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen), Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Simon Pegg (Star Trek) are just a few members of this stacked cast. And just when you think Mission: Impossible can’t top their action-packed, death-defying stunts, Mission: Impossible- Fallout somehow manages to pull out another box office hit.

Ballers: Season 5 Premiere

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is back as Spencer Strasmore in Season 5 of the HBO hit Ballers. The dark comedy picks up right where Season 4 left off: ex-NFL-player-turned-financial-manager Strasmore going head-to-head with the NCAA on a legal scale. He stepped down from his company SportsX, leaving the ambitious Joe (Rob Corddry) in charge for the coming season, and now that Quincy (Eli Goree) has officially been reinstated, the new season is sure to follow his development now that he is “back in the game.” Season 5 of the HBO juggernaut Ballers is shaping up to be even more dramatic than the last with some actors hinting at a possible death at the end of the season…
