Take a deep breath, everyone. It’s Friday. You made it. It’s time to take off your clothes, kick back with a bag of popcorn and gummies and let the stress of the week just melt away. While we are not there to massage your feet, we can assist in your decompression by providing a list of new movies to explore on-demand. And, whether you use Amazon Video, iTunes, Vudu or your cable’s on demand service, there are a plethora of new releases that are sure to fit the bill.

If your not-so-guilty pleasure is ogling the mythic god that is Chris Hemsworth, then look no further than Men in Black: International. Hemsworth once again teams up with badass Tessa Thompson —you remember her as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, right?— in the latest installment of the Men in Black franchise. We did not realize we needed the continuation of this dynamic duo until now! And if you are still on the franchise kick, then check out John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum. The third movie in this action series picks up just hours from where the previous movie left off. Ex-hitman John Wick is on the run from a league of professional assassins after a $14 million contract is put out for his head.

Ma

Ma is a horror film that really drives home the point of stranger danger. The movie follows a group of teenagers who befriend a middle-aged woman when she willingly buys them alcohol. Insisting that the kids call her “Ma,” she invites them to use her basement as a safe place to drink and party as long as they follow a few rules: one kid must stay sober, never curse and never go upstairs. The initially-fun relationship quickly becomes tense as the loner Ma becomes obsessed with her new teenage friends, and eventually, the high school hotspot turns into a horrifying nightmare. Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer (The Help) stars as Sue Ann, or Ma, in this bone-chilling movie.

Olivia Wilde’s (House M.D.) launched her directorial debut in style through the hit comedy Booksmart. Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird) and Kaitlyn Dever (Detroit) are Amy and Molly: two overachieving best friends who set aside social experiences in high school to get into the best colleges possible. But when the girls find out that their partying, “delinquent” classmates got into the same—if not higher— caliber schools, they realize that they should have let loose more and enjoyed their teenage years. So on the eve of their graduation, Amy and Molly embark on an adventure to pack in four years of fun into one epic night. This kooky, hysterical and heartwarming movie will make you look back on your high school years with a fondness for maybe the first time ever.
