Not even a full day after the Southern Charm reunion, and season as a whole came to a close, Kathryn Dennis has got the internet a-buzz with her bling. On Thursday afternoon, she posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “thank y’all so much for watching us this season. y’all make it all worth it! stay gucci and stay tuned” followed by the emoji covering its mouth.
Because the detail that’s got jaws dropping is not the pair of fancy sunglasses she’s sporting but the diamond ring casually wrapped around her left ring finger, as she’s got a happy smile on her face. Could…is that…wait…is Kathryn Dennis engaged?!
She’s been dating musician Hunter Prince for nearly nine months now, as they met at the beginning of the year and the relationship had Kathryn giddy from the start. He’s been by her side through a rough year which has included a bitter custody battle for her two young kids with Thomas Ravenel, the sad passing of her mother earlier this month, and a reunion that found her grilled by her castmates about her current sobriety status. He even popped up in this season’s finale episode and judging by this picture, we could be seeing a lot more of him in the future…
UPDATE: According to People, Kathryn and Hunter actually broke up, with a source telling the outlet, “Kathryn is not engaged to anyone but herself. She and Hunter actually split about two weeks ago. Their relationship ran its course. Kathryn is doing well, and staying focused on the kids.” We wish the best for Kathryn, and can always count on this girl to keep us guessing.
