The Dark Crystal is a classic. Released in 1982, Jim Henson’s dark fantasy tale hit at just the right age to captivate and terrify a generation of kids–kids that are now major filmmakers and actors. Enter: The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a prequel series now available to binge on Netflix. The new show expands upon the original film’s mythology, setting the stage for the Thra-shaking revelations of the landmark film.
One way in which Age of Resistance builds upon the world of the film is through the expansive cast. With ten hours of story to tell, the Dark Crystal series populates its world with dozens of characters from different tribes and races, all with personalities and motivations–and A-list voice talent!
