Fox News Host Laura Ingraham Trolls Liberals By “Drinking” Steak & Light Bulbs With Plastic Straws

Fox News host Laura Ingraham decided to troll her adversaries during her show this week by spending several minutes attempting to “trigger” liberals with a plate of steak, incandescent light bulbs, and plastic straws. The awful attempt at comedy was even messier than the plate, so Laura, please don’t quit your day job. Or do. Just don’t try comedy again.

On Friday night’s episode of The Ingraham Angle, Ingraham opened her final segment by telling viewers “It’s time for the Last Bite,” a pun which would play once she explained what she was doing. It’s also the name of the segment.

“Well, it’s not so much the last bite, maybe but it kind of last, a last meal,” she said, with a clear script and very little improv.

“Well, it’s a meal that will trigger all the right…” Ingraham continued, then corrected herself, saying “I meant all the left people.”

“Okay, you ready? Are you really prepared for this?” she said, as the camera pulled back so that a warning sign could appear on the screen.

“Okay. A warning, here it is, the ultimate trigger sculpture, kind of culinary sculpture, it has everything that Democrats hate,” she described as the camera panned to the plate in front of her. “Steak, plastic straws, and light bulbs. And if I could have put an SUV on this I would have. Okay?”

“Can you sip a steak?,” she pondered, then attempting to do just that, concluding “Mmm. Tastes good, it’s kind of a vapors of the steak.”

Hoping to get the reaction and attention that she was aiming for with the bit, Ingraham then took the opportunity to jab Democratic Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang, stating “these are the light bulbs that Andrew Yang said are so dangerous to the planet because they burn out too often,” asking herself “when you push that into the steak, is there any conduction whatsoever?”

According to Mediaite, for those who may not know: the law phasing out these types of light bulbs was signed by Republican President George W. Bush in 2007, so Ingraham was mocking Yang’s platform for raising an old issue.
