How To Watch NFL Games Online: Your 2019 Live Streaming Guide

NFL football is back, baby! After months of non-stop training camp updates, contract holdouts, surprise retirements, and the bizarre Antonio Brown drama, the 2019 NFL season is finally about to begin. There are no shortage of intriguing storylines as we head into Week 1: Can second-year quarterback Baker Mayfield lead the new-look Browns to a division title? Will former Oklahoma Sooners standout Kyler Murray live up to the hype? Can last season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year Saquon Barkley lead the New York Giants back to relevance? Time will tell.

With the plethora of streaming options available to cord-cutters, finding the right NFL live stream option can be a bit overwhelming. Lucky for you, watching the NFL online has never been easier… as long as you know where to look.

Here’s a comprehensive guide of how to watch the 2019 NFL season online!

HOW TO WATCH NFL GAMES ON CBS, FOX, & NBC:

Weekly NFL games will air on both CBS and FOX, while NBC will once again be the home for Sunday Night Football. FOX, along with the NFL Network and Prime Video, will also be one of the places to stream Thursday Night Football.

FOX: If you have a valid cable login, NFL games on FOX can be streamed on Fox.com and the Fox Sports app (available on iTunesAmazon, and Google Play). Depending on your location, you can also access a FOX live stream with an active subscription to fuboTV, Sling TV, YouTube TVHulu + Live TV, PlayStation Vue, or AT&T TV NOW.

CBS: If you’re looking for a CBS live stream, CBS All Access is your best option. The CBS streaming service is available for as little as $5.99 (or a $9.99 commercial free option), and offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. Depending on your location, you can also access a CBS live stream with an active subscription to Hulu + Live TV, fuboTV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV NOW, or PlayStation Vue.

NBC: If you have a valid cable login, you can locate an NBC live stream on NBC.com/live, the NBC Sports app (available on iTunesAmazon, and Google Play), and/or NBCSports.com. Depending on your market, you may also be able to find an NBC live stream if you’re a YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, fuboTV, Sling TV, AT&T TV NOW, or PlayStation Vue subscriber.

HOW TO WATCH NFL GAMES ON ESPN & NFL NETWORK:

ESPN will once again be the home for Monday Night Football, while the NFL Network will exclusively televise seven games throughout the season, including two international games, a Week 16 triple-header, and two Thursday Night Football matchups.

ESPN: You can live stream Monday Night Football on ESPN via the “watch live” section on the ESPN website or the ESPN app, which you can download on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon. To access an ESPN live stream, you’ll need a proper cable login or a subscription to an over-the-top internet service that carries ESPN (Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV NOW, and PlayStation Vue).

NFL Network: Football fans who subscribe to the NFL Network can find a live stream via the “watch live” section of the NFL Network website or the Watch NFL Network app (available on iTunes and Google Play). You can also find an NFL Network live stream if you’re a Sling TV, fuboTV, or PlayStation Vue subscriber.

CAN I WATCH THE NFL ON HULU OR PRIME VIDEO?

You can’t live stream the NFL with a traditional Hulu account, but Prime Video will once again be a viable streaming option for Thursday Night Football. Beginning in Week 4, you can watch most Thursday Night Football games on Prime Video.

WHAT ABOUT NFL REDZONE?

Interested in watching just the touchdowns? NFL RedZone is now available as a standalone service though the NFL app for $34.99/year. Just download the app, go into settings, and you’ll see the option to subscribe to NFL Game Pass and/or NFL RedZone.

RedZone is also available to purchase as an add-on through Sling TV ($10/month), fuboTV ($9/month), and PlayStation Vue ($10/month).

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL NFL LIVE STREAM OPTIONS FOR 2019?

Yep. Just like last year, live local and primetime regular season games are also available to stream for free (no cable login needed!) via Yahoo Sports on your smartphone or tablet. You can download the app on iTunes and Google Play.

You can also access live local and primetime games via the official NFL app, which is available on iTunes and Google Play.

HOW TO WATCH OUT OF MARKET NFL GAMES DURING THE 2019 SEASON:

For out-of-market games, your best bet is NFL Sunday Ticket. While not available everywhere (check your eligibility here), the service allows you to watch up to four live NFL games of your choice on one screen. If eligible, you can sign up for the “To Go” package ($73.49/month for four months or $293.96) or the “Max” offer ($99.00/month or four months for $395.99).

WHICH SKINNY BUNDLE IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR ME?

From Hulu + Live TV to Sling TV, there are no shortage of skinny bundle options for cord-cutters. As we mentioned above, the main channels you need to enjoy the 2019 NFL season are FOX, CBS, NBC (Sunday Night Football), ESPN (Monday Night Football), and the NFL Network. The multitude of options can be confusing, so we highlighted the price and NFL-related channel options for each service:

Sling TV:
