Do you remember the 21st night of September? You will because it is the start of Fall this weekend and we could not be happier. The leaves are starting to change, geese are flying south and that nip in the air means it is cuddle season! So snuggle up with your bestie, significant other or boyfriend pillow (yes, we said boyfriend pillow) and check out the newest movies and shows that are coming out this weekend. And whether you like Netflix, HBO Hulu or Prime Video, your favorite streaming service is ready to glue you under that fuzzy blanket all weekend.
There are a plethora of new and interesting movies and shows on Netflix that will keep warm and cozy as long as you want. Funny Or Die’s go-to show host—a.k.a Zach Galifianakis— is hitting the road in Between Two Ferns: The Movie. This satirical mockumentary combines the dry wit of Galifianakis with the awkward humor that always arises during a terrible interview with a major celebrity. Another great satirical comedy coming out this weekend is part 2 of the animated series Disenchanted. Simpsons creator Matt Groening has created another fantastic series about an alcoholic princess and her dimwitted sidekicks. But in Part 2 of the show, Princess Bea has to sober up (ish) to save her kingdom from her evil mother!
HBO’s Saturday movie this week is the sequel to the mega-hit family movie The LEGO Movie! In The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Emmet (Chris Pratt) and Lucy (Elizabeth Banks) face a new f0rmidable foe from above (literally): the Duplo invaders. When the invaders bring about an apocalypse and kidnap Lucy, it is up to Emmett and fantastic new friend Rex to save his friend and make everything awesome again.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie
Between Two Ferns, that “low-budget internet talk show,” finally got its big break. Between Two Ferns: The Movie is the underdog story about one man, Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), who had his stardom dreams dashed when Funny Or Die founder Will Ferrell found his public access TV show and put it on his site for all to mock. But Galifianakis will not give up on his life goal; so he makes a deal with Ferrell that if he gets 10 more interviews with high-profile celebrities, Ferrell will turn his online web show into a full-fledged network series. It is now up to one man and his team to travel across the country with nothing more than a suitcase and his two trusty ferns to restore his tarnished reputation. (Can you sense the satire throughout all of this? Good!) Between Two Ferns: The Movie is a gut-busting mockumentary featuring the dry humor of Galifianakis, Ferrell, and celebrities like Brie Larson, Bradley Cooper, Peter Dinklage to name just a few.

Disenchantment: Part 2
From the beautiful mind that created The Simpsons and Futurama came Disenchantment, the satirical fantasy animation about the misadventures of an alcoholic princess and her two buffoon friends. Last season put a damper on Princess Bean’s (voiced by Abbi Jacobson) party, however, when she brought her mother, Queen Dagmar, back to life only to turn the citizens of Dreamland into stone. It is now up to Bee and her personal demon Luci (Nat Faxon) to get Elfo back and restore Dreamland before it falls to utter destruction. Before jumping into Disenchantment Part 2, be sure to catch yourself back up with everything you need to remember.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part
Once upon a time, everything was awesome; but now everything has changed. Find out why in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, the sequel to the hit animated movie that came out in 2014. The film picks back up back with Emmet (Chris Pratt) and Lucy/Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) who live in the now-desolate-and-destroyed world, “Apocalypseburg.” And when a mini-doll named General Sweet Mayhem arrives looking for Apocalypseburg’s leader, she kidnaps Batman, Lucy, Benny and MetalBeard, it is up to Emmett to go and save his friends.
