‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ Is Now on Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video

Get psyched because witches, cyborgs, and the antichrist himself just landed on your favorite streaming services. American Horror Story: Apocalypse, aka AHS‘ epic crossover season, is now on Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video. And it is every bit as insane and amazing as you’re expecting.

Apocalypse starts with, well, the apocalypse. A mass nuclear explosion disrupts the modern world, killing the poor and forcing the rich into secretive underground cults with a strict dress code. So far, so American Horror Story. But that all changes when the literal antichrist Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) makes his debut.

That name sounds familiar for a reason. In AHS‘ first season, Murder House, Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton) had sex with a man she assumed was her husband wearing a gimp suit. She was wrong. Really what happened was Vivien was raped by the ghost of Tate Langdon (Evan Peters), who was dating Vivien’s daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga) at the time. Apparently that’s the specific messed up formula American Horror Story needed to produce the antichrist.

The rest of the season of Apocalypse spirals into one long duel between Michael and his surprisingly loyal Satanist followers versus the witches of almost everyone’s favorite season, Coven. That battle is every bit as incredible as it sounds. There’s a face-off over who should be the new Supreme. Billy Porter had a full on side adventure with Emma Roberts’ Queen Bee Madison Montgomery. And of course Jessica Lange’s Constance reappears to remind us all how terrible of a mother she truly is.

Whether you’ve seen this season before and are dying for a rewatch in between watching American Horror Story: 1984 or missed this creepy reunion, Apocalypse is worth your time.
