Take a big sigh of relief, folks, the weekend has finally come. After a week of bending over a desk—which undoubtedly is where that nasty neck pain is coming from, by the way— you deserve to get off your feet and stretch out on the couch with your favorite characters. This weekend you’re in luck, too, because with all of the new TV shows and movies coming out on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO, you won’t have to get up for days!
Arguably the biggest title coming out this weekend is the highly-anticipated El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. It has been 6 years since Breaking Bad and its cast of colorful characters left our screens but Jesse Pinkman is returning once more, now that he has newly escaped from captivity. Another much-discussed title is also coming out this Friday: Insatiable Season 2. Debby Ryan returns as Patty, a former fat girl and high school punching bag who is out for revenge after an incident leaves her with a smokin’ hot body. But when will she be satisfied?
HBO is staying true to the Halloween spirit with this week’s Saturday movie pick of Happy Death Day 2U. This horror film serves as the sequel to the 2017 hit movie; this time, however, a new student is stuck in a serial-killer time loop and for a very different reason.
Curious about what else is hitting Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO? Here’s what’s new on streaming this weekend.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
After Walter White left our screens in 2013, we were left with what you could call a craving that no vice could fix…until now! El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is giving us the Breaking Bad sequel we have desperately wanted. Picking up right where the series left off, we follow the barely-free Jesse Pinkman as he tries to establish a new life for himself while escaping the law—and his checkered past. The film features Aaron Paul once again as Jesse Pinkman and also features Badger (Matt L. Jones) and Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) among other old favorites. We are wildly looking forward to watching El Camino this weekend, but there are a few loose ends from the series that we hope they clear up. Check them out here and see if you agree.

Insatiable: Season 2
The controversial Netflix-original show Insatiable is back for Season 2 on Friday. The revenge dramedy series follows fat-girl-turned-beauty-queen Patty who is out for revenge against anyone who bullied her before her drastic, lifechanging weight loss. Joining the pageant world under the tutelage of her attorney/ pageant coach Bob Armstrong was only step one, however, as season 2 will explore how far Patty will actually go for revenge. Starring Debby Ryan and Dallas Roberts, Insatiable is an indulgent show that will keep viewers talking—for better or for worse.

Happy Death Day 2U
Happy Death Day 2U is the sequel to the surprise 2017 hit horror film. Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) thought the never-ending death cycle was over when she killed her serial killer roommate. But when her classmate Ryan gets stuck in a nightmarish time loop of his own, Tree pitches in to help solve the case; but this serial-killer time warp is much, much more difficult than before. Who knew being pursued by a manic serial killer was the easier option?
