Captain Sandy Yawn Thinks Returning 'Below Deck Med' Yachtie Aesha Scott Has "Rizz": "She Came Back With A Mad Skill Set"
It’s one thing to get drunk when you’re vacationing on a yacht. It’s even expected. But in a first for Below Deck, and most of the crew aboard this yacht, a guest turned up completely “hammered” (Captain Lee’s words) on the latest episode of the Bravo series.
It’s only the second charter of the season, led by returning guests Helen Hoey and Richard Fiore who also appeared on the show last year. But this time around, they brought an overly intoxicated friend with them. Even as they are approaching the yacht, she almost runs into the camera as she’s walking down the pier. “What is your problem, Brandy?” her friend is heard asking. “Why are you stumbling? Don’t fall in the ocean, Brandy,” they have to warn her. One even describes their pal as “a total wasteoid” and it’s not wrong considering she even needs help getting up the stairs to the boat.
Brandy nearly falls down as the guests greet the crew, though she did wisely pass on taking one of those delicious-looking welcome beverages. “The girl in the white dress is really drunk,” Chef Kevin reports to the captain. Now, it is 93 degrees outside, so that’s certainly going to intensify the intoxication, but this is just yikes.
As Chief Stew Kate Chastain conducts her yacht tour for the group, Brandy is unable to concentrate and slurs to her friends, “I just wanna go to our room.” She’s then seen leaning over a sink and breathing very, very heavily and could possibly be having a panic attack. “I’m getting freaked out,” she admits.
“Yeah, that Brandy girl is a mess, who invited her on the party?” one of the guests asks.
“I’m not sure what they were being served wherever they were before this but I think that Brandy had a lot of them,” Kate says in her interview. And she would know – after the first crew night out, she earned a hangover so rough it had her suspecting that “the vodka in Thailand is different.”
“I’ve had guests pass out before but never within the first hour of being on the yacht,” Kate continued. “You didn’t even get the whole boat tour!”
Unfortunately, this is not the last drunken experience for Brandy. During next week’s episode, she’s seen tumbling down on a beach blanket and being carried away to get some serious medical attention.
Below Deck airs Monday at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
