In need of a comforting family comedy this fall? Have no fear, for Atypical Season 3 is almost here. But exactly when does Atypical’s new season come to Netflix?

Created by Robia Rashid, Atypical is a coming-of-age comedy centered around Sam Gardner (Keir Gilchrist), a teenage boy on the autism spectrum. At least that’s how this series started. Over time the dramedy has evolved into a drama-filled exploration of one loving but torn family. And judging by Season 3’s trailer, this series is determined to hug its audience even tighter in its familial acceptance. So when does Atypical return? Here’s everything you need to know.

When Does Atypical Season 3 Come Out?

Clear your schedules for this Friday. Atypical Season 3 comes to Netflix on November 1. This latest season will have 10 episodes, just like Season 2.

What Time Does Atypical Season 3 Come to Netflix?

If you can’t wait to spend more time with the Gardner family, you’re in luck this week. Season 3 of Atypical premieres on Netflix at 3 a.m. ET this Friday, November 1. Want to watch Atypical but you’re based on the West Coast? Not a problem. This new season premieres at midnight on that coast.

What Happened in Atypical Season 2?

A lot of big changes. After fretting for two seasons now, Sam’s (Keir Gilchrist) parents finally granted him some freedom and let him apply to college. This new season will see Sam at a university, and if his flings with Paige and Bailey are indication, there will be drama. Speaking of drama Doug (Michael Rapaport) is still coping with his wife Elsa (Jennifer Jason Leigh) cheating on him. It’s been an uphill battle, but we think these crazy kids will be all right.

But the biggest twist of last season surprisingly went to Sam’s younger sister Casey (Brigette Lundy-Paine). After spending two seasons alternately arguing and hooking up with her boyfriend Evan (Graham Rogers), Casey ended last season tenderly holding hands with her best friend Izzie (Fivel Stewart). There’s definitely some sexuality exploring ahead for Season 3. And we’re here for it.
