Everything Coming to HBO Max

Netflix better watch out. On Tuesday, AT&T and WarnerMedia announced new details about its forthcoming streaming service HBO Max, which will officially launch in May 2020. During a presentation on Warner Bros. storied lot, executives laid out pricing information for the service — $14.99/month, the same price as HBO Now — subscriber goals, and their long-term vision to best compete in a landscape that will only get more crowded over the next few months.

Despite its name, HBO Max hopes to be much more than just an extension of the premium cabler: it will be home to more than 10,000 hours of programming, including licensed sitcoms like Friends and The Big Bang Theory, films from WarnerMedia’s vast library, and Original series and movies of all kinds. With its diverse library, it’s clear that HBO Max is gunning for the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ (the latter of which launches on November 12), but we’ll have to wait at least six months to find out if that plan is successful.

So, what shows and movies will be on HBO Max when it launches in May 2020? And what’s coming next? Here’s everything (that we know of) coming to HBO Max.
