A couple of weeks ago, I binged the new season of Jack Ryan. My one sentence review: If you liked the first season of Jack Ryan, you’re going to absolutely love Season 2.
The new eight-episode installment of Amazon’s popular action franchise finds our favorite “bright boy” (John Krasinski) traveling to South America to investigate a far-reaching conspiracy involving illegal arms and widespread political corruption in Venezuela. The acting is spectacular, the mysteries are as captivating as hell, and the host of new characters (portrayed by Michael Kelly, Noomi Rapace, Jordi Molla, Tom Wlaschiha, and Cristina Umaña) help elevate the intrigue.
Jack Ryan Season 2 was scheduled to premiere tomorrow on Prime Video, but you always need to expect the unexpected when it comes to Jack Ryan. Earlier this afternoon, Krasinski surprised fans by announcing on Twitter that Season 2 would be available a day early.
“Happy Halloween!” the actor tweeted. “To celebrate I thought I’d give all fans of Jack Ryan a little Halloween treat! When can you watch the new season? How about… right now!!! Yup! #JackRyan Season2! One day early! Only on @PrimeVideo”
If you don’t plan on participating in tricks and/or treats tonight (or if you’re not too busy awaiting the arrival of The Great Pumpkin), you can celebrate Halloween with a new season of Jack Ryan.
