TV fans have learned to accept delays when it comes to the return of their favorite shows, but the Season 3 finale of Rick and Morty aired on October 1, 2017, which in TV time may as well have been 1957. That was before Apple TV+, before Succession, before Killing Eve, before Barry, before… EVERYTHING. But on Sunday, November 10, our favorite animated duo finally return for a fourth season of weird, wonderful, chaos. Wondering how to stream the upcoming season of Rick and Morty? WILL SEASON 4 OF RICK AND MORTY BE ON HULU?
Yes… eventually. Unfortunately, the new season of Rick and Morty won’t be available for next-day streaming on Hulu, but Season 4 will eventually premiere on the platform.
WHEN WILL RICK AND MORTY SEASON 4, EPISODE 1 BE ON HULU?
*** UPDATE (10/16/20): Rick and Morty Season 4 debuts November 1, 2020 on Hulu! ***
As Variety reported back in October, Season 4 of Rick and Morty will premiere on Hulu (and HBO Max) “around five months” after the season finale. Rick and Morty Season 4 consists of ten episodes, with the fifth episode airing on December 8 and the final five episodes of the season airing at some point in the future.
Season 3 of Rick and Morty premiered on April 1, 2017 and concluded on October 1, 2017. If the new season follows a similar timeline, the Season 4 finale would air in May of 2020, which would mean the new season would premiere on Hulu around October of 2020.
It should be noted that Season 3 of Rick and Morty ended on October 1, 2017 and arrived on Hulu in June of 2018.
