Is ‘Frozen’ on Netflix? How to Stream the First Movie Before ‘Frozen 2’

You know who was never going to “let it go?” Disney, when it comes to the megahit Frozen. Frozen 2 opens in theaters this weekend, because of course there was always going to be Frozen sequel. That movie literally made a billion dollars! I’m surprised it took this long for the sequel to come out!

Anyways, Frozen 2 comes out on Friday, and all of the original cast is back: Kristen Bell as Anna, Princess of Arendelle; Idina Menzel as Elsa the Queen of Arendelle who has those crazy ice powers; Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Anna’s working-class boyfriend; and Josh Gad as Olaf, the annoying magical snowman who’s haunted my dreams for the past eight years. The sequel takes place three years after the events of the first film and sends the team on a brand new adventure, with brand new showstoppers sung by Broadway queen Idina Menzel.

If you’ve never seen Frozen, first of all, that’s quite a feat. I’m going to assume you don’t have kids or theater nerd friends. But you should see it. It’s a good movie! And if you have seen it, you might want to rewatch it before seeing the sequel this weekend. But how? Is Frozen on Netflix? Where can you stream Frozen? Read on to find out.
