When Does the Octavia Spencer/Aaron Paul Show ‘Truth Be Told’ Come Out?

Attention true crime podcast fans! Apple TV+ has a new show just for you. Truth Be Told stars Oscar winner Octavia Spencer as Poppy Parnell, a journalist and podcast host, who feels compelled to re-examine the case that made her an award-winning true crime writer.

Years after young Warren Cave was put behind bars for the murder of his wealthy neighbor Chuck Buhrman, new evidence has come to light that makes Poppy question whether or not Warren was in fact innocent. When she finally lands an interview with the older, hardened Warren (Aaron Paul), she is shaken by the way jail has changed the once shy teenager. Truth Be Told is based on Kathleen Barber’s novel Are You Sleeping? and also stars Lizzy Caplan in dual roles, twins Lanie Buhrman Dunn and Josie Buhrman.

Truth Be Told is just the latest original series to land on Apple’s new streaming service, Apple TV+. Here’s everything you need to know to watch Octavia Spencer and Aaron Paul’s new show, Truth Be Told.
