Former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel, who was at the center of many personal controversies over the past 2 years, claims he was approached to appear on the upcoming seventh season of the Bravo show.

An eager fan curious about whether or not Ravenel would be returning to the popular show baited him on Instagram, according to RealityBlurb.com. Asked whether there was any truth to these rumors, Ravenel responded, “None. Was asked again yesterday and responded with a resounding no! Yet #fakenews People.com will keep saying I was fired. They’re disgusting!”

As viewers may recall, Thomas was dismissed from his full-time role on Southern Charm after two women, including his former nanny, came forward with allegations of sexual assault against him. Thomas avoided jail time by pleading guilty to assault in the nanny’s case against him.

The actor was also involved in a child custody dispute with co-star Kathryn Dennis, the mother of his two children, as well as later on appeared in an incriminating video where he was caught taking mushrooms (the psychedelic kind, not the kind you find in the veggie aisle).

One of Ravenel’s fans implied that Thomas could “name [his] price” because the “show is not the same” without him, Thomas insisted that he will never return to the show, regardless of how much money he is offered.

“My family did an intervention (I’m the youngest of 6 children) and said that they’d disown me if I ever did another episode,” Thomas explained.

Earlier this year, rumors circled claimed that production on Southern Charm‘s seventh season was halted due to producers struggling to find new faces to recharge the popular drama after Thomas’ exit last year.

Without the drama between Ravenel and Dennis, according to the report, the show has been lacking in drama. “Without [Thomas Ravenel] they need the drama to come back,” said an insider to Radar Online.
