‘Sex Education’ Season 2 Trailer Promises More Sex, More Laughter, and More Drama

Netflix’s hilarious teen comedy Sex Education is back for Season 2! And the brand new trailer for Sex Education Season 2 teases more sexual hangups, more giddy comedy, and even more romantic tension between Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey).

Season 1 of Sex Education took Netflix viewers to the wacky world of young Otis Milburn. Because he’s the son of a brilliant sex therapist (Gillian Anderson), the precocious teenager happened to know more than his fair share about the birds and the bees. However, because he grew up surrounded by phallic symbols, sexual freedom, and frank conversations about orgasms, the awkward teen struggled with his own sexual pleasure. When the super cool Maeve discovers that Otis knows enough about sex to coach their peers through the ups and downs of adolescent sex, the two start a sex therapy clinic at their high school that soon has huge repercussions on the social lives of their friends.

The Sex Education Season 2 trailer teases that the show will pick up where it left off. Otis is now finally in a happy relationship with Ola (Patricia Allison), but that’s threatened when the two realize their parents are also intimately involved. Plus, it seems that it will get back to Otis that Maeve is in fact in love with him. Elsewhere, a hot new student is set to rile up the student body and catch Eric’s (Ncuti Gatwa) eye.

Sex Education Season 2 debuts on Netflix on January 17, 2020.
