What is Taylor Swift: Miss Americana about? Who directed Miss Americana?

While we’re not sure exactly what ground the doc will cover yet, Netflix tells us the film will cover “a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice.” Phew.

This movie is directed by Lana Wilson, who won an Emmy for her 2013 doc After Tiller, and it’s produced by Academy Award winners Morgan Neville and Caitrin Rogers, who you may know from their extremely successful and popular documentary, 20 Feet From Stardom. Christine O’Malley (Wordplay, I.O.U.S.A.), also produces. It’s going to be great.
