One of the most disturbing series of the last year has finally come to an end, and we know what question is on your mind: When will Servant Season 2 premiere and what will happen next?

Created by Tony Basgallop and executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Apple TV+’s half-hour thriller will make you never want to touch a doll again. The series follows a married couple who is on the brink of divorce after losing their baby son. To cope with their loss, Sean (Toby Kebbell) buys his wife Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) a Reborn doll, which she instantly adores. But when that doll is inexplicably replaced by a real, living baby, things go from tragic to eerie. Here’s everything we know about the future of this series.

Will There Be a Servant Season 2 on Apple TV Plus?

Don’t you worry; there are more creepy babies to come. Before the first episode of the Apple TV+ series even premiered Apple renewed the half-hour thriller for a second season. It was announced on October 22 that Season 2 will premiere on January 15. But if M. Night Shyamalan has his way this show isn’t going to stop after two seasons.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the executive producer revealed that he has a six-season plan for Servant. That means 60 half-hour episodes of being suspicious of Leanne (Nell Tiger Free) and creeped out by Dorothy’s refusal to blink.

When Will Servant Season 2 Come Out?

Servant‘s first season started development in February of 2018. It was then filmed from November of 2018 to March of 2019. Based on that production schedule, it seems like it takes about a year to make a single season of Servant. If that timeline holds true, we can likely expect Servant Season 2 to premiere sometime in winter of 2020.

What Could Happen in Servant Season 2? Servant‘s Finale Explained

All of Servant’s first season grappled with one question: Was the baby Jericho really brought back from the dead or was he stolen? “Balloon” never gave us a clear answer about which warped reality was the truth but it sure had a lot of drama. Spoilers ahead for Servant Season 1, Episode 10.

Leanne’s aunt and uncle reappeared during Jericho’s christening to warn her that what she was doing was wrong. According to them, it was God’s plan for the Turners to not have a baby and however Leanne remedied that was spitting in their religion’s face. Eventually Leanne relented to the whims of the Church of Lesser Saints, leaving behind the Reborn doll before returning to her aunt and uncle. By the end of the episode it’s still unclear where “Jericho” is.

Based on that ending, Servant Season 2 will likely revolve around Dorothy and Sean trying to get their baby back no matter the cost. Hopefully along the way we’ll learn more about Leanne’s spooky cult-like church. In the meantime we’ll be side-eyeing any babydoll we see.
