Netflix’s endlessly charming coming-of-age comedy Sex Education has finally returned for its sophomore year!
Season 2 of Laurie Nunn’s trenchant teen comedy finds Moordale high school in the throes of a chlamydia outbreak. Amidst the chaos, Otis attempts to balance his new romance with Ola and his strained friendship with Maeve, Eric tries to reconcile his feelings for Adam while embarking upon a new relationship, and Jackson finds himself in unfamiliar territory after an injury forces him to press pause on his athletic career. While many of your favorite returning characters receive a lot more screen time in Season 2 (Ola, Ruby, Aimee, Anwar, Lily, Mr, Hendricks, Miss Sands), there are a few new faces in the second season of this popular series.

Rahim is portrayed by actor Sami Outalbali.
WHERE HAVE I SEEN SAMI OUTALBAI BEFORE?
Outalbai has starred in a number of French television series (The Tuche Family, Grown Ups, Vive la colo!) as well as the French drama Lola. During a recent interview, Outalbai revealed his favorite scene from the new season of Sex Education. “My entrance scene was a real, real pleasure to shoot,” the actor said. “It reminds me of the first day of my school… I never made an entrance like that.”

WHO PLAYS VIV ON SEX EDUCATION?
Viv is portrayed by actress Chinenye Ezeudu.
While Ezeudu may be a relative newcomer when it comes to the small screen, back in 2016 the actress portrayed Gregory in the National Youth Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Sex Education may be Chinenye’s first Netflix role, but it won’t be her last. Ezeudu plays Zoe Denmoor in the streamer’s upcoming British mystery thriller The Stranger, which premieres on Netflix on Thursday, January 30.

WHO PLAYS ISSAC ON SEX EDUCATION?
Issac is portrayed by actor George Robinson.
Sex Education is Robinson’s first major acting role. According to HITC, George took time off at Birmingham University to appear in the new season. Being the new kid on the block can be difficult, but during a recent interview, Robinson revealed the Sex Education cast is welcoming to newcomers.
“It’s such a collaborative atmosphere,” the actor said. “As soon as I joined, everyone was just like, ‘Hey, if you never need anything just tell me and I’ll give you a hand.’ Everyone’s so friendly. It was fantastic.”
