Earlier this week, Part 8 of The Ranch premiered on Netflix. The latest batch of episodes are officially referred to as the second half of Season 4 (or Part 8), but many fans online have been calling the newest episodes “Season 8.” Just to clear up any confusion, we’ll be referring to the brand new episodes as Part 8.
The new season delivered a slew of surprises, most notably the answer to the Part 7 cliffhanger “Who shot Nick?” We won’t get into any spoilers here, but if you’re looking for the answer, Decider recently covered The Ranch’s latest mystery.

IS THE RANCH CANCELED?
I wouldn’t use the word “canceled,” but there won’t be any additional new episodes of The Ranch on Netflix. Back in June of 2019, Ashton Kutcher took to Twitter to announce that the series would be coming to an end after the fourth season (Part 7 and Part 8).
“The Ranch is coming to an end, but not just yet,” the actor tweeted. “We’re excited to bring you the final 20 episodes — 10 streaming later this year (2019) on Netflix and then 10 more in 2020. Stay tuned!”
With 80 episodes produced, The Ranch currently holds the title of the longest-running Netflix original multi-cam comedy series.
WHEN WILL THE RANCH PART 9 ARRIVE ON NETFLIX?
Unfortunately, there are no plans for additional episodes of The Ranch. As of now, Part 8 is the final installment of the series, with the 80th episode acting as the series finale.
