Who Is Hugh on Star Trek: Picard? Will Hugh Come Back on Star Trek: Picard?

Last episode included a big surprise for Trekkies: The Next Generation’s Hugh (Jonathan Del Arco). Hugh first appeared in the TNG episode “I, Borg.” In the episode he was rescued by Picard and his crew after being the only survivor of an accident. But this Borg’s separation from his collective caused him to experience loneliness for the firs time in his life. In the process, Picard came to question some of his preconceived opinions of the Borg.

Hugh first reappeared in Picard’s Episode 3, “The End Is the Beginning.” Based on Del Arco’s IMDB page we know his character is set to return in Episode 5’s “Stardust City Rag” as well as Episodes 6 and 7. You can expect more of this complicated Borg in your near future.
