Gimme an F! Gimme an R! Gimme an I! You know where we are going with this, happy Friday everyone. Is it us, or is this month flying by? Pretty soon the days will get longer and the birds will fly back up for the season. But don’t worry, it is still winter so you have every excuse in the world to stay indoors with your favorite streaming services this weekend. And whether you prefer to use Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, or HBO, the movies and shows coming out this weekend will keep you out of the cold weather for as long as you want.

Netflix is coming out with a bevy of titles this weekend that is sure to satisfy every alter-ego in your arsenal. For those in the documentary mood — or whoever is entertaining their parental instincts — be sure to check out the new docuseries, Babies. This equally adorable-and-informative show takes a scientific dive into the first year of a baby’s life and what factors into this important year of milestones and growth. We cannot tell which of the 15 babies featured is the cutest, so we will let you decide! In addition to Babies, Netflix is also releasing Gentefied, a dramedy about three Mexican-American cousins striving for the American dream while fighting against gentrification, Marlon Wayans’s parody horror film A Haunted House, and sports drama film, Full Count.

But the real big-ticket title coming out this weekend is Jordan Peele’s latest masterpiece: Hunters. Starring Hollywood and film legend Al Pacino, this drama series centers on a group of Nazi hunters operating in New York in the 1970s. And don’t close off your queue just yet, because HBO’s Saturday film is the latest film in The Conjuring universe, Annabelle Comes Home!

Curious about what else is hitting Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO? Here’s what’s new on streaming this weekend.

Babies

If you didn’t get your cute fix from the docu-series Dogs, then prepare to “awww” your mind out while watching Babies, the latest docuseries out on Netflix. From nature to nurture, Babies explores the growth and development of 15 different babies over the course of one year. But what sets this series apart from watching a bunch of online videos of cute babies is the scientific lens through which it examines the emotional and awesome experience that is child-rearing. Warning: side effects from watching Babies include coos, giggles and uncontrolled baby talk.

Hunters

Al Pacino stars in Hunters, the new Prime Video series about a team of Nazi hunters in 1977 New York. From Executive Producer Jordan Peele, this drama series follows “The Hunters,” a rag-tag group of citizens who dedicate their lives to tracking down and eliminating Nazi officials hiding in plain sight. When the group uncovers a Nazi conspiracy to create a Fourth Reich in the United States, The Hunters set out to bring the Nazis to justice and foil their genocidal plans. Also starring Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson), Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and more, Hunters manages to balance the fun of a comic-book-like action series with the pain and poignancy necessary in a show dedicated to Holocaust victims. Suffice it to say, we expect this series to blow 2020 out of the water.

Annabelle Comes Home

The world’s naughtiest dolly is back in Annabelle Comes Home. The latest horror film in The Conjuring Universe picks back up in 1968 with demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren — after the events of 2014’s Annabelle and 2017’s Annabelle: Creation. They have confiscated the doll, locked her up in a sacred glass case and trapped in their blessed artifacts room where she is supposed to stay for all eternity. But, after four years of peace, an unwitting babysitter breaks into the room and unlocks Annabelle’s case, awakening the demonic spirits inside. A night of unholy terror unravels as the evil spirits set their sights on a new target: the Warren’s 10-year-old-daughter, Judy. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles in this never-ending nightmare on screen.
