Fans of Jennifer Niven’s 2015 novel All the Bright Places have been eagerly waiting the All the Bright Places movie for five long years. That wait has finally come to an end—almost. The teen romance starring Elle Fanning and Justice Smith will hit Netflix tomorrow.

Not to spoil anything, but if you haven’t read the book and just happened upon All the Bright Places on Netflix, a word of caution. Despite the fact that they are both teen romances, both came out in February, and both have the word “all” in their title, All the Bright Places couldn’t be more different from Netflix’s recent To All the Boys sequel. All the Bright Places follows Violet Markey (Fanning) and Theodore Finch (Smith), both of whom are struggling with serious mental health issues. Violet is grieving the recent death of her sister, while Theodore is dealing with undiagnosed bipolar disorder. When they meet, they change each other’s lives—but that doesn’t make everything magically better.

Be prepared for dark subject matters, and be prepared for heartbreak, too. If you’re ready for that, here’s when All the Bright Places will be on Netflix.
