If you’ve spent February 2020 obsessed with anything other than Love Is Blind, then I don’t know what to do for you. Clearly you don’t enjoy over-the-top messy displays of highly-produced yet way too raw romance, all parceled out in instantly bingeable chunks. This show, possibly more than any show of 2020, delivered the most WTF moments per minute, interspersed with moments of genuine sweetness. One minute someone’s giving a dog wine, the next is a romantic helicopter ride. One minute there’s a poolside blowup, the next there’s… another romantic helicopter ride. Seriously, what was with all the helicopter rides?
But now that the Love Is Blind season finale is out on Netflix and Season 1 is complete, we have just one question on our minds: is anyone from Love Is Blind still together? Buckle up, because we’re entering SPOILER MODE from here on out!
So, we know who gets married on Love Is Blind. Only two of the five couples made it out of the experiment intact (which honestly seems like a high success rate considering how catastrophic my expectations were). But since Love Is Blind filmed those weddings back in November 2018, we’re left wondering what happened to the couples on Love Is Blind in the last year. Where are the couples from Love Is Blind now? Here’s what we were able to gather from snooping around on their Instagrams!
Who gets married on 'Love Is Blind'?
This is a question I tried to answer back when the show premiered a few weeks ago by obsessively snooping around on everyone’s personal Instagrams. Now that we know who got married and who didn’t, I can reevaluate how right I was back then!
Lauren & Cameron: Yes! You can see Lauren wearing a ring in this picture from December 2019. They were not following each other on Instagram on 2/14, but they are now.
Diamond & Carlton: We knew they didn’t last past Mexico, and, uh, if you’re following Carlton on Instagram, then you know things have not been easy for him. These two weren’t following each other on 2/14 and they still aren’t.
Kelly & Kenny: I didn’t see these two wearing wedding rings in any photos, and now we know why. Still, these two were following each other on Insta on 2/14 and that hasn’t changed. It looks like this was the most amicable breakup of the bunch.
Giannina & Damian: I clocked Giannina wearing a ring, but noticed that Damian was not. Now we know that’s because they did not get married. They weren’t following each other on 2/14 and they still aren’t.
Jessica & Mark: Both of them were ringless in photos from over the past few months, because they did not get married. These two weren’t following each other on Instagram on 2/14 but—twist!—they are now!
Amber & Barnett: The other successful couple could be spotted wearing wedding rings and, in a since-deleted picture, Barnett’s dog Coda could be seen in the background of one of her selfies. They were following each other on 2/14 and they still are today (obviously).
Are Amber and Barnett still married?
So, are Amber and Barnett still together? Has their love lasted the million months (okay, 15 months) since the finale filmed? As far as we can tell, yes. As noted before, you can see rings on their fingers in various pics on Instagram. The most fun clue that they’re still together, though? They did a Pokemon couples costume for Dragon Con last August.
The couple that cosplays together stays together.
Are Lauren and Cameron still married?
While Amber and Barnett didn’t exactly work super hard at keeping their relationship secret, Cameron and Lauren did. They didn’t even follow each other on Insta! But now they do, and Cameron even posted a wedding photo after the finale dropped with the caption “The happiest day of my life.”
I mean, spoilers for all of his followers that didn’t watch the episode during work hours but, the guy sat on that secret for over a year! The two were also together at a finale party the night the episode dropped, where this happened (as captured by fellow LIB cast member @curlyhairgoldskin).
Things worked out well for these two.
