The new film stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen in the mad scientist role, as well as Moss’s character’s abusive ex-husband. Written and directed by Leigh Whannell (best known for the Insidious franchise), the film currently has a 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. We don’t doubt that it’s good, but nothing beats the original, which is widely considered by many to be not just one of the most iconic horror films, but one of the most iconic films, period.
