What Time Will ‘Élite’ Season 3 Be on Netflix?

Élite Season 3 will be streaming on Netflix before you know it. The scintillating Spanish drama has been winning over Netflix subscribers since it first premiered back in fall 2018. Part harrowing murder mystery, part Gossip Girl-esque fun, Élite takes viewers into the world Las Encinas, an upper crust Spanish high school hiding some seriously shocking dirt.

The first two seasons of Élite debuted on Netflix in the fall of 2018 and 2019, respectively. However, the uber-popular hit is coming back for Season 3 sooner than you might think! Instead of having to wait until fall, it’s debuting now!

Here’s everything you need to know about Élite Season 3 — plus a quick refresher on what happened in Élite Seasons 1 and 2.

Élite Season 3 will premiere on Netflix this Friday, March 13. (That’s tomorrow!) That means you don’t have too much longer to wait to get back to the drama of Las Encinas.

WHAT HAPPENED IN ÉLITE SEASON 1? WHO KILLED MARINA IN ÉLITE SEASON 1?

Élite Season 1 followed three teens from the wrong side of the tracks — Samuel, Christian, and Nadia — as they found themselves thrust into the high stakes social scene of one of the country’s most elite schools, Las Encinas. However, the first student who befriends the trio, Marina, is brutally murdered in the school’s pool. The first season of Élite  toggles back and forth between what led to the murder and the police investigation of the crime.

While Élite Season 1 ends with most of the characters believing that Samuel’s older brother Nano killed his lover, the truth is that a rich kid named Polo did the deed. Marina and Nano had stolen a watch from Polo’s then girlfriend Carla. What they didn’t realize is the watch held secrets with the potential to bring multiple upper crust families down.

WHAT HAPPENED IN ÉLITE SEASON 2?

In Élite Season 2, Samuel seduces Carla and stages his own disappearance. Believing her loverboy is dead, Carla goes to the police and confesses that Polo killed Marina. Meanwhile, a guilt-ridden Polo spills the beans to his new love interest, Anders (who is only available because his Season 1 boyfriend Omar won’t come out to his Muslim parents).

Polo eventually goes to jail, but Season 2 ends with the young man returning to Las Encinas. And that’s not the half of it. Season 2 also features a new student hiding her poor background, another lying about being from a drug cartel, and half siblings Lu and Valerio getting it on. But maybe the hookup that had the fans the most excited was the consummation of the long-simmering flirtation between rich boy Guzman and Nadia. The two finally declared their feelings for each other and had sex everywhere from in a pool to a locker room bench.

With all that in mind, there’s a world of drama for Élite Season 3 to mine. Will you be there to see it all go down?
