Hank Azaria’s delightfully unhinged baseball comedy Brockmire returns later tonight for its fourth and final season. If you don’t want to wait, the Brockmire Season 4 premiere is now streaming for free on IFC’s website.
I’m a big fan of Brockmire, huge, so if you have yet to experience the offbeat charms of this explosively funny sitcom, the first three seasons are currently streaming on Hulu. As for Season 4, both Amanda Peet and Tyrel Jackson Williams return as the series heads into the future, largely taking place from 2030-2033. Having seen all eight episodes, I can confidently say that the new season engenders lots of laughs and even a few tears.
