Last night, Eliot Laurence’s interesting new drama series Motherland: Fort Salem premiered on Freeform. Starring Taylor Hickson, Demetria McKinney, and Jessica Sutton, the series is set in an alternate America where witches ended their persecution over 300 years ago by striking a deal with the government to fight for their country. The show follows three witches who are trained to become powerful weapons for the American military.
This is just the latest in a series of buzzy new programs from Freeform. Earlier this year, Josh Thomas’ endlessly charming dramedy Everything’s Gonna Be Okay (which is currently streaming on Hulu) debuted to critical acclaim.

Motherland: Fort Salem is scheduled to arrive on Hulu today (March 19). In fact, the show’s Twitter page notes that you can watch it “now on Hulu.” Unfortunately, the first episode has yet to be uploaded to Hulu.
WHEN WILL MOTHERLAND FORT SALEM BE ON HULU?
New episodes usually premiere on Hulu by 9:00 a.m. ET. Sometimes there’s a delay (normally with live shows/live events), but this also happens with cable shows from time to time. We expect the series premiere of Motherland: Fort Salem to arrive on Hulu sooner rather than later (most likely by 12:00 p.m. ET).
