‘Southern Charm’ Invades ‘Summer House’ For This Season’s Wildest Party Yet

Kyle Cooke might not actually be 40 years old yet, but he’s going to throw a party worthy of reaching the big 4-0! On the latest episode of Summer House, the 37-year-old threw a college frat/literal Animal House themed bash that spared no expense and no Bongzilla.

This episode also enlightened us to many other aspects that we could delight in: the fact that Luke is horrible at basketball and that Luke and Hannah are totally not done flirting and are even making out in the hot tub (!) and that there is NO truer true love than when Amanda held up a cup to Kyle’s penis so that he could pee into it instead of having to walk 50 feet into the house to do so. Swoon! But maybe avoid the pool after he’s been in there…

But it was also thrilling seeing our favorite Southern Charm guys, Shep Rose, Craig Conover, and Austen Kroll stroll into the party to help celebrate, drink, and flirt, of course. “We walked in, all three of us were yelling at each other, and then we went our own ways,” Craig Conover told Decider exclusively of their moods once they arrived at the party. But they sure snapped into party mode as soon as they got there.

“The water slide was awesome,” he confirmed. “I was like, you guys wanna do water slide races? So it was me Paige, Jules, and Kyle,” Craig said, even though we were only treated to his less than slippery slide with Kyle on the show.

And while these two bunches of Bravolebrities might be the GOATs when it comes to partying, there were also literal goats in attendance this day. “The goats were hilarious,” Craig said. “It was pretty wild when we walked in, things were just running around everywhere. It was definitely an experience. It was a really funny day.”

It was good to see the Southern Charm guys in action because, well, it might be a while before we see them again. While the Bravo series officially started production in February, everything is on hold now while we all shelter and social distance — but we have a pretty great season to look forward to. “It was really good,” Craig said of the early days of filming the new season. “It’s a bummer with this unprecedented situation but it really felt like we got back to our roots. It’s very organic and transparent. [After] having such a long break, everyone kinda came in full steam ahead, so it was pretty wild and a lot of drama. Everyone basically kept what was going on in their lives and the cameras showed up and started to catch all the drama that happens in our everyday life. It was really good.” Also really good: Craig’s donating a portion of the proceeds from all sales of his Sewing Down South pillow line to help the frontline workers during the coronavirus crisis.

Summer House airs Wednesday at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
