Starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, the latest installment in the Bad Boys franchise breathes new life into the long-dormant series through its kickass action scenes and pure leading-man charisma— times two! And after months of much buzz and anticipation (and a revision or twelve) the live-action adventure comedy Sonic the Hedgehog is finally out for the world to see. Based on the beloved video game character, Sonic follows the misadventures of the bright blue speedster as he tries to figure out life on Earth and take down an evil villain (played by none other than Jim Carrey). The Call of the Wild
Harrison Ford stars in The Call of the Wild, the adventure film about one dog’s gradual return to his natural animal state. Based on the beloved literary classic by the same name, the flick follows Buck, a loyal housepet whose life is turned upside-down when he is uprooted from his home and transplanted to the wild Alaskan Yukon during the 1890s Gold Rush. What follows next is the adventure of a lifetime as Buck overcomes obstacles and moves from the rookie to the leader of the pack, and an alpha all on his own.

Disney-Pixar’s latest masterpiece is Onward, an adventure film set in a world where fantasy has become humdrum and magical creatures have set aside wonder for suburban life. Everybody that survived high school remembers that that one group of obnoxious yet perfect people that was headed up by the Queen B(itch). But throughout all social terrors she/he put your through, did you ever want to just chop his/her head off? Well, in the cult 80s film Heathers, that’s exactly what happens. Winona Ryder plays Veronica Sawyer: a highly-intelligent high school senior and member of “The Heathers,” the elite clique at her midwestern high school. But when Veronica and her bad-boy boyfriend J.D. (Christian Slater) accidentally kill Queen B Heather Chandler, they forge a suicide note to cover their tracks. What starts as a covered-up accident turns into an out-of-control murder spree that claims every jock, cheerleader or popular kid that ever dared to cross Veronica and J.D.’s path. Despite its age, Heathers will continue to stand the test of time. After all, we’ve all been there! Right?
