CBS Sunday Night at the Movies: Watch ‘Titanic’, ‘Indiana Jones’, and More Every Sunday

Movie theaters across the world may be closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but CBS is still attempting to get viewers into the movie-going spirit. In May, CBS will be launching a new Sunday Night at the Movies campaign to reunite viewers stuck at home with some of their favorite Paramount Pictures characters. Each week, the network will be airing a different cinematic classic, including Titanic, Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones, and more.

CBS’s Sunday Night at the Movies event will highlight five of the most beloved films of the past 40 years: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost ArkForrest GumpMission: ImpossibleTitanic, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Together, the five films won 22 Academy Awards and amassed more than $4 billion at the worldwide box office (according to Box Office Mojo).

Network executives hope that the monthlong event will inject some much-needed excitement, romance, and drama into viewers’ self-quarantines (not to mention that it will promote Paramount Pictures films as ViacomCBS prepares to launch a new streaming service). “It’s a five-week programming event with epic films, iconic stars and brilliant stories that viewers love… and love to watch together,” said Noriko Kelley, Executive Vice President, Program Planning and Scheduling, CBS Entertainment.

The full schedule for CBS’ Sunday Night at the Movies marathon is as below. All films will air at 8/7c with the exception of Titanic, which will begin earlier to accommodate its 3 hour, 15 minute runtime. That gives you plenty of time to debate whether or not Kate Winslet actually had space on her raft for Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jack Dawson.
