Twenty years ago, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire took the country by storm and eventually morphed into a ratings juggernaut. Later tonight, the legendary game show returns as Jimmy Kimmel hosts a celebrity edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire!
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 2020 focuses on celebrities trying to win as much money as they can for the charity of their choice. In tonight’s episode, Eric Stonestreet is playing for Building Hope for Autism while Will Forte competes on behalf of The Pangea Network. The modern edition of the popular game show includes a few new wrinkles, including a new lifeline, a feature called “Ask the Host,” and a play-along app (available now) which will allow viewers to compete to win the same amount of money that celebrities are playing for on the show.
