‘RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race’ Event Series is Coming to TV Sooner Than You Think

The queens are giving you content, honey! VH1 has finally ruvealed vital info about the series formerly known as RuPaul’s Celebrity Drag Race. Now rechristened RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race, we have not only a look at what’s in store for all of us in the kingdom, but we also know when this event is going down.

RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race will premiere on Friday, April 24 at 9:30 p.m. ET on VH1, following a new episode of the ratings blockbuster Season 12 of the mother series, RuPaul’s Drag Race. And don’t worry, y’all, because the backstage companion series RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked ain’t going anywhere—well, it is moving to 11 p.m. ET. So the lineup for the duration of this month-long event will go as follows: Rupaul’s Drag Race at 8 p.m. ET, RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race at 9:30 p.m. ET, and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked at 11 p.m. ET. This expands your Friday night drag content to a whopping 3.5 hours—and that’s exactly what the world needs right now!

In the four-part series, a trio of celebrities—their identities kept a secret until the episode airs—will get a fierce makeover from a lineup of Queen Supremes. The illustrious alumnni coming back back back back back again are Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen, Kim Chi, Monet X Change, Monique Heart, Nina West, Trinity the Tuck, Trixie Mattel, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. At the culmination of each episode, one celebrity from will be crowned America’s Next Celebrity Drag Race Superstar. Get ready for a new quartet of superstar queens to emerge from this competition.
