We now know a little bit more about the episodes we’ll be getting schwifty to this May. Adult Swim has just released the episode titles and premiere dates for the five episodes remaining in Rick and Morty Season 4. And you better believe they look promising.

After an almost two-year hiatus, Rick and Morty returned with its fourth season back in November of 2019. But instead of releasing all 10 episodes on a weekly basis, Adult Swim took a different approach that they were likely hoping would sate the masses. The first half of Season 4 was released throughout November and December, and the remaining five episodes are set to air starting this May.

The official Rick and Morty Twitter account announced the episode titles and premiere dates.

So if you need a breakdown of exactly what this means for Season 4’s future, we’ve got you covered:

  • Episode 6: “Never Ricking Morty” premieres May 3
  • Episode 7: “Promortyus” premieres May 10
  • Episode 8: “The Vat of Acid Episode” premieres May 17
  • Episode 9: “Childrick of Mort” premieres May 24
  • Episode 10: “Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri” premieres May 31

There are a lot of promising episode titles in this next batch. And, as we’ve covered before, we’ve already seen some footage from them. The excellently named “Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri” seems to be a clear nod to Star Wars with a Jerry bend. The first trailer of Season 4, Part 2 saw Summer battling the traitorous Tammy with a lightsaber. Based on that is seems like we’ve seen a hint of our finale. Also based on that army of Ricks in the first shot of the trailer and the fact that The Citadel of Ricks elected a Morty, it seems likely that we’ve already had a battle-ready glimpse of “Childrick of Mort.” But let’s take a second to focus on the outlier in this new crop of titles: “The Vat of Acid Episode.”

Typically, Rick and Morty‘s episode titles are packed to the brim with forced Rick, Morty, and occasionally Beth or Jerry puns. But time and time again the most straightforwardly named episodes have proven to be the strongest. We saw it with “Pickle Rick” and “Get Swifty.” And this squanch is hoping “The Vat of Acid Episode” will deliver.

No matter which episode is best (or best named), one thing is for sure: May 3 can’t get here soon enough.
