GLAAD to Host Livestream Event with Kesha, Dan Levy and More This Weekend

Missing live music? You can catch a Kesha performance for a good cause this weekend. In the latest livestream to hit our screens, GLAAD is putting on its own event in response to the coronavirus pandemic, featuring performances from both Kesha and Melissa Etheridge. The upcoming feature, Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone, is set to include a long list of LGBT stars and activists in the event, which will premiere this Sunday (April 26) at 8/7c. The organization’s livestream will be available to watch on the GLAAD Youtube channel and Facebook page.

GLAAD has not announced the host for the event yet, but it has given us a sneak peak of what, and who, we can expect to see on Sunday’s livestream. Billy EichnerMatt Bomer, Lilly Singh, Adam Lambert, Bebe Rexha, Dan Levy, Mj Rodriguez, Wilson Cruz, Kathy Griffin, Gigi Gorgeous, Nats Getty, Michelle Visage, Javier Muñoz, Sean Hayes, Sharon Stone, and Tatiana Maslany are all set to join in on Together in Pride. The event is being created in partnernship with GLAAD and Madam Secretary actor Erich Bergen.

Together in Pride is intended to support the LGBT community and those living with HIV during the pandemic, and will raise funds for LGBTQ community centers that are members of CenterLink, a coalition of more than 250 LGBTQ community centers.

“At a time when some LGBTQ people could be isolating in homes that are not affirming, GLAAD is bringing together the biggest LGBTQ stars and allies to send messages of love, support and acceptance,” said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis in a press release last week. “So many LGBTQ people, especially our youth, depend on support from local community centers around the country, and during this time of financial distress, we must come together as a community to ensure that all LGBTQ organizations can continue their life-saving work.”

You can watch GLAAD’s livestream event, Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone, this Sunday (April 26) starting at 8/7c on the GLAAD Youtube channel or Facebook page.
